Which Size Boot Do I Need?

Get the right size the first time by following these simple steps

1
Find a sturdy piece of paper or cardboard and place your horse's hoof squarely on it.

**Yellow higlighted products indicate experimental products that are only available in special circumstances. Please call to order these items.

2
Use a short dark pencil (a golf pencil, for example). It must be able to run under the ankle at the back.

Trace around the foot holding the pencil as shown. You will need a tight trace with the pencil vertical. Trace around the heel bulbs.

Mark end of ground contact area on both sides of the hoof. (Shod or unshod) Ground contact area must fit within gel orthotic surface area.
3
Now measure your trace at:

• The widest point, as shown

• The longest ground contact point, as shown.

• The longest point including bulbs, as shown.

4
Consult the size chart to see which gel orthotic / boot size to order.

Note: Some “underslung hoofs” may need next size up
