Just like a lot of your equine friends taking their shoes off to wander the winter pasture in their downtime before getting excited for spring, we are enjoying taking time to reflect on our amazing year at Soft Ride! This holiday season we are so thankful for the amazing horses, owners, veterinarians, farriers, barn managers, trainers, and support staff that use Soft Ride on a day-to-day basis. Whether it’s a horse trailering to the National Finals Rodeo, a farrier applying accommodative shoes for preventative care, or a vet trying to save an acute laminitis case, we are so grateful to have a product you depend on for the health and comfort of your equine companions. We wish you all the very best this holiday season and hope you get to enjoy some time at the barn!

AAEP San Diego Wrap Up
|

Last week we wrapped up our 2023 travel and conference season with a visit to San Diego for the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) annual conference. Over the five days of meetings and three days on the floor of the trade show, we were able to connect with hundreds of vets from all over the US and the world. It’s amazing to spend time with the vets working in the field, hearing their success stories and bouncing new ideas off one another. If you had a chance to stop by our booth we appreciate you taking the time and for your support of Soft Ride’s goal to keep horses safe, sound, and comfortable both at home and on the road!

After a long season of travel and production, we’re thrilled to give our staff time off for the holidays with their families. We appreciate having the wonderful customer base we have that allows our small family business to close for the holidays.
Soft Ride Customer Service and Shipping will be closed for Winter Break from December 22nd to January 9th.
Last orders to ship before break must be placed by December 21st at 1:00 Eastern Standard. Orders placed over the break will ship out on January 9th, 2024.

Mimi is a 25-year-old miniature horse, feisty and sweet, and recently had Lyme disease, now fighting PPID and insulin dysregulation. She became immobile from acute laminitis, and I feared I would need to consider serious options, but along came your Soft Ride boots, recommended by Dr. Linda Mittel, and within hours, we could see relief from the pain, and she was walking around her paddock within a day! With the rainy summer/fall in central NY, I was worried the boots would hinder her movement in the mud, but she had no problem at all... and the boots stayed dry on the inside, despite the wet outside!
