Summer offers a welcome opportunity to reconnect with family, reflect on the months behind us, and prepare for the season ahead. We are sincerely grateful for your patience during our annual summer holiday week and appreciate the time you gave our family to step away, recharge, and return refreshed. Your continued support makes it possible for Soft Ride Boots to remain a family-owned business focused on serving horses and the people who care for them, and we never take that trust for granted.
Time away often creates space for fresh perspectives. Our team returned with renewed energy and several exciting ideas that we look forward to developing in the months ahead. While those projects are still taking shape, our commitment remains the same: creating thoughtful products that support equine comfort, soundness, and recovery through practical, evidence-informed design.
One of the most rewarding parts of our work is hearing the stories behind the horses we serve. Whether your horse has worn our products during rehabilitation, for everyday comfort, or as part of a preventative care program, your feedback helps other horse owners, veterinarians, and farriers learn from real-world experiences. | Thin soled, laminitic or full foundered, Soft Rides have been a saving grace for many of our rehab rescue horses. Turned around many lives for the better. We have tried all other competitors & I'm telling you NONE will even compare. They hold up in the pasture for months, easy to clean & our horses love them. We started using them for long hauls to provide extra comfort. Not to mention our vet & farrier recommend these over any brand. Once we put on the boots there's instant relief, licking & chewing. | | The Texas Equine Veterinary Association Summer CE Symposium is one of the premier equine veterinary meetings of the year, bringing together practitioners from across the country for high-quality continuing education in a collaborative and engaging setting. Designed to balance cutting-edge science with practical clinical application, the symposium covers a broad range of topics including lameness, sports medicine, internal medicine, diagnostics, and emerging treatment approaches.
Presenters include Matt Durham, DVM; Charlie Buchanan, DVM; Sherry Johnson, DVM, DACVR; Kent Allen, DVM and more. The full symposium schedule will be published later this month. Soft Ride will be onsite and looks forward to connecting with veterinarians while continuing to support education that advances equine comfort, recovery, and performance.
